Building Evolution Corporation (BEC) has performed a Facility Conditions Assessment (FCA) of all building systems and Retro-Commissioning (RCx) study of the heating system at Jacob Edwards Library (JEL), a library originally constructed in 1914 and extended in 1966 and again in 2000 with considerable renovations. Our assessment has provided JEL with prioritized recommendations to overcome existing issues, improves the buildings performance, durability, and indoor conditions, as well as an overall 20-year capital plan for the main building systems.
