When building components reach their end of life, they require replacement. The replacement cycle is the least cost opportunity for upgrading to a higher performance component. Reviewing the whole building as a system, instead of the building of systems, allows upgrades to be packaged together as holistic projects tackling problems and solving performance goals. The objective of this event is to outline a roadmap to decarbonize educational facilities with actionable projects to reduce carbon, energy, and water.
