Description

BEC has performed Facility Conditions Assessments (FCAs) to the historical Richard’s Memorial Library which was built in 1900 and later extended.  The intent of the assessments was to determine the existing conditions of the facilities, including building enclosures, MEP systems, interior finishes, and climate resiliency.  The data gathered was used to develop a capital plan, with a specific focus on estimate expected service life of systems and major equipment.  The BEC developed an Executive Summary Report that explained and provided the technical rationale for the recommendation.
