Building Evolution Corporation (BEC) has performed a Facility Conditions Assessment (FCA) of all building systems for the building portfolio operated by Southbridge Credit Union (SCU). The FCA included six buildings that ranged in age from 10 to 182 years, constructed of various building systems, and each with unique architectural design and issues. Our assessment has provided SCU with the ability to prioritize projects and funding across the portfolio and to help evaluate its future needs. Our recommendations help to overcome existing issues, improves the buildings performance, durability, and indoor conditions. We developed a five-year plan for addressing deferred maintenance as well as an overall 20-year capital plan for the main building systems. BEC is now working as the Commissioning Agent (CxA) for capital upgrades and ongoing operations for SCU.
