The Old manse

Description

Building Evolution Corporation (BEC) helped to protect the future of our nation’s past. The Old
Manse is a pre-revolutionary historic property in Concord, MA. In the stewardship of the non-
profit organization, The Trustees of Reservations, The Old Manse overlooks the Old North
Bridge where the “shot heard ‘round the world” was fired. Famous residents include authors
Ralph Waldo Emerson and Nathaniel Hawthorne. BEC assisted with developing options for
replacing space conditioning and developed remedial measures for improving indoor conditions that support future upgrades.
